PepsiCo has always championed diversity and innovation, and was keen to start investing in entrepreneurs within the food and beverage space, specifically female founders: think Stacy’s Pitta Chips.
They needed a name and a brand for this global initiative.
Enter Womanmade, a community dedicated to giving female founders peer-to-peer mentorship, access to tools, relevant content and expert guidance.
The WM / XX-chromosome in the logo was a gift from the the universe.
In just one year, the commuity organically grew to more than 2,300 female entrepreneurs.
